Vice Regency: Synergy with Police must Be Further Strengthened

Hopefully our relationship can be strengthened in realizing public order and security

Thousand Islands Vice Regent Junaedi says synergy that has been established between the Thousand Islands Regency administration and the national police must be further strengthened, especially in terms of curbing the COVID-19 outbreak.

According to him, the role of police is very helpful in monitoring health protocols and security in the entire Thousand Islands region during the transitional large-scale social restriction (PSBB).

"Hopefully our relationship can be strengthened in realizing public order and security, especially in the territorial waters and Thousand Islands," he stated, after he attended the Bhayangkara's 74th anniversary on the courtyard of Thousand Islands Resort Police, Marina Ancol, North Jakarta, Wednesday (7/1).

Similar expectation also comes out from Thousand Islands Resort Police Chief AKBP Morry Edmond. He uttered, his party will continue to embody the Thousand Islands region remains safe and conducive.

"Thus people can be more productive," he expressed.

He added, the Bhayangkara anniversary this time presents various series of activities such as shooting competitions, blood donations, social services, futsal tournaments for members and the inauguration of the floating net cages (KJA) on Panggang and Kongsi islands.
