Central Jakarta, Seven City Parks Opening Postponed

Central Jakarta Park and Urban Forest Sub-agency postpones the opening of seven city parks in Central Jakarta during the Phase II of transitional Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) period.

We still unable to open those seven parks during the Phase II of Transitional PSBB period

Central Jakarta Park and Urban Forest Sub-agency Head, Mila Ananda said, her side postponed the opening of seven city parks namely, Pramuka Park, Pirus Park, Putra Pendawa Park, Tongkang Park, Lawang Park, Tanah Abang Timur Park, and Dr. Wahidin Park.

"We still unable to open those seven parks during the Phase II of Transitional PSBB period. Thus we postpone it while waiting for instruction from the agency," she explained, Wednesday (7/8).

Lapangan Banteng Park is Reopened to the Public

In Jakarta, she mentioned, there are 106 parks that had been closed since the enactment of PSBB policy some time ago. During the Phase I of Transitional PSBB period, her side has opened Lapangan Banteng Park in accordance with COVID-19 preventive protocols by providing hand washing facilities, checking visitors' body temperature, and requiring visitors to wear mask.

"Lapangan Banteng Park is open from 5 AM to 6 PM. Total visitor is limited up to 100 people a day," she closed.
