Tens of houses at dense population in Kampung Gege, RT 02/06, Duri Kepa Urban Village, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta were set on fire at 4 PM, Saturday (10/11).
I don't know the cause, but the fire was already big
The fire was extinguished after 4 hours. The cause was still unknown. As much as 35 units of fire truck from West Jakarta Sub-dept. of Fire and Disaster Handling were deployed at the scene. In fact, the personnel had difficulty extinguishing fire since the location is in narrow road.
Surya (45), one of local citizens, said the fire came from one of citizens house. "I don't know the cause, but the fire was already big," he said, Saturday (10/11).
Two Rented Houses on Jalan Kampung Baru BurntDarma, a personnel from sub-department, told that the fire was rapidly burn because of flammable material.
