Beware! Thousand Islands Prepares Work Sanction for PSBB Violators

We will act decisively against those who break the rules

The Thousand Islands Regency is about to give social work sanction for residents who violate COVID-19 health protocols by not wearing masks when they are outdoors.

This statement came out from Thousand Islands Vice Regent Junaedi on the sidelines of a ceremony about supervision and raid action, Wednesday (7/21) morning. Its ceremony that was held at the Regency Office Mall, Pramuka Island, North Thousand Islands was apparatuses of urban village and sub-district, medical team, Transportation Agency, Satpol PP and COVID-19 handling task force.

"We will act decisively against those who break the rules. In this case, they will clean up the public facilities of the beach," he expressed.

Not only that, he also urged the officers to display photos of offenders on every bulletin board in their area, such as the announcement board of the RW Secretariat, the Karang Taruna Youth Secretariat, the mosque and the urban village office.

"Hopefully it can give them deterrent effect and realize that using a mask is an obligation and basic needs before leaving the house," he stated.
