Some 38 people at Kampung Melayu Terminal, Jatinegara, East Jakarta have been subject to social work and administrative fine sanctions to 2 people who have violated the transitional PSBB regulation by not wearing masks.

"The sanction is given as deterrent effect thus they increase discipline to comply with COVID-19 preventive health protocols," expressed Jatinegara Sub-district Satpol PP Head, Sadikin, Friday (8/7).

In the field, he expressed, the officers still found that many residents who did not wear masks while doing activities outside the home showed neglect of health protocols. Therefore, he insisted on urging them to always obey the existing rules.

"This is for the common good and health, we hope this disease will end soon," he closed.
