City Gets Appreciation for Achieving Highest National Investment Realization

Jakarta Council (DPRD) Commission B Chairperson, Abdul Aziz appreciated Jakarta Government for achieving the highest national investment realization in the second quarter of 2020 at Rp 30.1 trillion.

I appreciated Jakarta Government's efforts in the midst of pandemic period but able to achieve the highest predicate nationally

"I appreciated Jakarta Government's efforts in the midst of pandemic period but able to achieve the highest predicate nationally," he conveyed, Tuesday (8/11).

His side expected this achievement wouldn't make Jakarta Government off guard in strengthening investment climate in the city. Moreover, the global economy has declined due to COVID-19.

"I hope this achievement can encourage us to work more diligently," he mentioned.

He assessed, decline in the realization of Jakarta Foreign Investment (PMA) by 10.29 percent in the second quarter of 2020 was normal. Because globally, it is still in the pandemic situation thus it surely gives an impact to foreign investment's value.

"But as the capital city, I am sure Jakarta Government can optimize national investment with all the existing potentials in Jakarta," he stated.
