300 Aid Packages Distributed to Cempaka Putih Timur Residents

The aid packages given consist of 3 kg of rice, 2 liter of cooking oil, 1 kg of sugar, 2 boxes of instant noodle, 1 kg of flour and 2 bottles of chili sauce

Low-income residents living in Cempaka Putih Timur Urban Village had received distributed 300 packages of aid package, as well as 500 masks and hand sanitizer from one of private insurance companies through corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, on Tuesday (8/18).

Cempaka Putih Timur Urban Village Head Shinta Purnama Sari said that those residents lived around Anggrek RPTRA or precisely in RW 02.

"The aid packages given consist of 3 kg of rice, 2 liter of cooking oil, 1 kg of sugar, 2 boxes of instant noodle, 1 kg of flour and 2 bottles of chili sauce," she expressed.

Hopefully it could lighten their burden in fulfilling daily needs, as the COVID-19 crisis had seen a large number of people lose their jobs.

"One week before distribution, we firstly do data collection. Afterwards, it is continued with distribution stage at our office in accordance with a predetermined time. Certainly we ask them to comply with health protocols in order to avoid the crowd," she closed.
