Elementary Student in Panggang Island Enthusiastically Uses JakWifi

A 6th grade student of SDN 03 Pagi Panggang Island of Thousand Islands, Dwiyanti Maharani (11) expressed her gratitude for being able to use free internet access which facilitated by Jakarta Government through JakWIFI program.

I am happy, because now I don't have to look for quota, especially when my parents don't have money

According to her, this program facilitates her to follow online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"I am happy, because now I don't have to look for quota, especially when my parents don't have money," she said, Monday (8/31).

JakWiFi is Already Available at 1,953 Points, Central Jakarta

Similar thing also conveyed by Oni (38), student parent who live at RT 007/003, Panggang Island Urban Village. He assessed that JakWIFI program could reduce economic burden on the family because his side no longer needs to buy quota for their children to study.

"JakWIFI really helps us to ease the economic burden on our family," he mentioned.

Internet for All or JakWIFI program which launched on last Friday (8/28) was held as collaboration between PT. Bali Towerinfo Sentra and  Telecommunication Network Providers Association (APJATEL) with Jakarta Kominfotik Agency in order to provide free internet access to Jakarta residents in 5 municipalities and 1 regency.
