Anies Expects Breakthrough from New Board Members of KH. Hasyim Asy'ari Grand Mosque Prosperity Council 2020-2023

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan appointed the board members of KH. Hasyim Asy'ari Grand Mosque Prosperity Council (DKM) that will serve in 2020-2024 period. This inauguration was held at Pola Room, City Hall, on Wednesday (9/9). The new board members of KH. Hasyim Asy'ari Grand DKM and their duties were stated in the Jakarta Gubernatorial Decree No. 893/2020 concerning the Management of KH. Hasyim Asy'ari Grand Mosque Prosperity Council (DKM) in 2020-2023 period.

"Behalf of Jakarta Provincial Government, we want to express our appreciation and gratitude to the Ladies and Gentlemen who have agreed to be the board members of KH. Hasyim Asy'ari Grand Mosque Prosperity Council until the next 3 years. It is a mandate of strategic tasks and we hope it can foster Islamic values within the Jakarta community," he said as quoted from Jakarta PPID press release, Wednesday (9/9).

He hopes KH. Hasyim Asy'ari Grand DKM can develop new breakthroughs that benefit the society. He also advised the new board members can review the existing programs and re-evaluate it, which ones need to be maintained, improved, reduced, or eliminated.

"Insya Allah, its activities can be known throughout Jakarta and Indonesia because of its breakthroughs, thus not only it has beautiful physical building but also its interesting programs that provide benefits to many people," he conveyed.

1. Chairperson: KH. Mahfudz Asirun

2. Secretary: Humaidi Hambali, Lc., M.A.

3. Treasurer: H. Muhammad Rawi

4. Departments

- Ta'mir Department Head: Drs. KH. Fathurrahman

- Social Department Head: H. Syurohbiel Mahfudz, Lc., M.A.

"It is a great mandate, but Insya Allah, it is not hard. Small or large, heavy or light, when there is a God will, the heavy duty can be light. Insya Allah, all of them can be healthy, protected while carrying out their duties. Insya Allah, in 2023, when we look back at the end of our assignment, we can be grateful for the 3 years journey which is beneficial for all," he closed.
