Thousand Islands Regent Junaedi, conducted a direct dialogue with residents on Tidung and Untung Jawa Islands, South Seribu Islands, on Thursday (9/10).
He expressed that he wanted to collect the aspirations of the residents, which would later be conveyed, directly to the Jakarta Governor, regarding the needs of the Thousand Islands people, which are different from the mainland areas.

He stated the residents' suggestions that would be submitted to the Governor included the needs of the maritime, transportation and tourism sectors such as the Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security (KPKP) Agency, Transportation Agency and Tourism Agency, which specifically handled the Thousand Islands, were no longer under the sub-agency.
"Hopefully this proposal can be realized, thus the acceleration of development in the islands can be carried out immediately," he concluded.
