Three Netted for Not Wearing Masks in Thousand Islands

To increase citizen discipline while preventing the spread of COVID-19, the city administration has prepared law-enforcement personnel from various institutions to jointly carry out an operation to ensure the implementation of mask-wearing protocols in the capital, especially in Thousand Islands. 

We still detect three violators and we immediately give them social work sanctions

Thousand Islands Regency Satpol PP Coordinator Teguh Haryanto said that the operation was compliance with Gubernatorial Regulation number 88/2020 on Amendments to number. 33/2020 on PSBB in Jakarta.

"We still detect three violators from Pramuka Island and we immediately give them social work sanctions," he expressed, Wednesday (9/16).

He stated the three people were caught not wearing masks while on the move outside the home thus they were given a written warning and social work sanctions to clean public facilities using the vests of PSBB violators.

Panggang Island Urban Village Head Pepen Kuswandi added his party continued to warn residents discipline following rules and implementing health protocols while conducting activities.

"It is intensified to prevent the spread of COVID-19 transmission," he stated.
