Bank DKI Expects JakOne Artri App Can Encourage People to Care About Environment

South Jakarta Government appreciates the establishment of environmentally conscious community called JakOne Artri. This community was initiated by Bank DKI to shape young generation's character to care about environment.

South Jakarta Vice Mayor, Isnawa Adji mentioned, this community's existence will help in handling environmental problems in the region, especially related to waste issues.
"JakOne Artri community will change people's viewpoints about waste by changing unused goods into goods with economic value. I believe this community can change people's behavior towards the environment," he stated in his written statement, Monday (11/16).

Thus, he appreciates the steps taken by Bank DKI to take the initiative to form a community that cares about the environment.
"I hope South Jakartans can join JakOne Artri community," he added.
PT. Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Herry Djufraini explained, activities in JakOne Artri community began with sorting inorganic waste (bottles, plastic cups, paper, etc) that have been collected by residents. Those will be taken to garbage collector to be weighed and recorded using JakOne Artri app. After that, residents will receive money (non-cash) from selling waste through JakOne Artri app.
After huge amount of sorted waste, garbage collector will send notification or ask waste entrepreneur to pick up the waste
"Waste will be weighed again and it will be paid to the collectors via JakOne Artri app (non-cash)," he conveyed.
People who take a part in RT administrations, schools, PKK, building managers, karang taruna and other communities can also join JakOne Artri as waste collectors.
"At least, by establishing JakOne Artri community, we can provide three benefits to the community. Those are to give additional income, encourage people to adopt an environmentally friendly lifestyle, and preserve the earth in modern way," he asserted.
According to him, Bank DKI will continue to encourage various communities in Jakarta to join JakOne Artri. He mentioned that anyone can join JakOne Artri community as long as they have downloaded JakOne Mobile and JakOne Artri app.
