Dishub Hasn't Implemented Odd-Even System During Transitional PSBB

Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) hasn't implemented odd-even system in the continuation of Transitional PSBB period until December 6, 2020.

We want to avoid public transportation cluster

Jakarta Dishub Head, Syafrin Liputo mentioned, odd-even system hasn't been implemented to prevent Covid-19 transmission in public transportation. Because many residents are still depend on public transportation for their daily activities.

"Public transportation  is a high risk place for Covid-19 transmission. We want to avoid public transportation cluster," he stated, Monday (11/23).

According to him, there was no change in previous regulations, including traffic regulations, that still referring to Dishub Head Decree No. 177/2020 about Controlling Transportation Sector to Prevent Covid-19 in Transition Period Towards a Healthy, Safe, and Productive Society.

This decree regulates restriction on passengers; operational hours and timing for public transportation, private vehicles, motorcycle taxis; and controlling population mobility by prioritizing bicycle use and walking.

"Odd-even system hasn't implemented until the time that will be informed later," he closed.
