Connecting Channel Construction on Jalan Mayjen Soetoyo Completed

East Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency has completed connecting channel construction on Jalan Mayjen Soetoyo, Cililitan.

This connecting channel is built to anticipate inundation and flooding in rainy season

East Jakarta SDA Sub-agency's Development and Drainage Improvement Section head, Tengku Saugi Zikri explained, this connecting channel is as long as 281 meters which located from in front of Cililitan SPBU until in front of National Law Development Agency (BPHN) of Law and Human Rights Ministry at RW 04, Cililitan.

"This connecting channel is built to anticipate inundation and flooding in rainy season," he said, Friday (12/4).

Connecting Channel in Pulo Nangka Cleaned

This connecting channel construction is a part of 11 construction programs carried out by East Jakarta SDA Sub-agency in 2020 through e-Katalog system.

"Its construction is faster than our initial plan which ended in mid of December. But it turns out we can complete it by early December," he informed.
