PT. Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro/Perseroda) together with KSO Wika Gedung, Jaya Konstruksi and PP are committed in completing Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) construction project in Tanjung Priok Sub-district, North Jakarta.

It is proven that we can complete one of the milestone of the project that Jakarta residents are proud of

Entering the 70th week or December 25-31 period, JIS construction progress has reached 43.1007 percent from target of 41.6721 percent. It means there is a positive deviation of 1.4285 percent.

PT. Jakpro (Perseroda) Corporate Communications Manager, Melisa S. Sjach mentioned, by exceeding the target, Jakpro's wants to show its commitment to remain focused on completing JIS as targeted. Surely, it is not an easy task due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Here are PT. Jakpro Achievements in 2020

"Although it is not an easy task and full of challenges, it is proven that we can complete one of the milestone of the project that Jakarta residents are proud of. Even, its realization has exceeded the target," she expressed, Tuesday (1/5).

She expected JIS, which carries the concept of sustainability and smart stadium technology, can play a role in building the foundation of sports industry in Jakarta and Indonesia, thus JIS can take a part in accelerating the national economic recovery after COVID-19 pandemic.

As public sports facility, JUS will become a meeting point of economy, public participation, urban innovation, and tourism in the northern region of Jakarta. This way, JIS will become a new economic node in the capital city.

"It is in accordance with Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan's direction where JIS will be also a meeting place for all elements in the capital, even internationally, thus football can become a medium to unite all kinds of differences in society," she explained.

JIS also equipped with two training fields that were recently inaugurated by Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan on December 28, 2020. The inauguration became a special and historic moment, because this is the first time soccer fields in Indonesia use international standard hybrid grass. By using hybrid grass, this field can be used for up tp 1,000 hours of competition, while the one that uses natural grass can only last for only 300 hours of competition.

Moreover, hybrid grass has good water absorption. It means that water will fall faster to the lowest layer of grass. According to FIFA standards, standing water in JIS fields are designed to not last more than 10 seconds.
