Nakertrans Gives Written Warnings to 38 Companies in South Jakarta

South Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration (Nakertrans) and Energy Sub-agency has given written warning to 38 companies found to have violated health protocols.

We temporarily close those 7 companies based on reports from community

South Jakarta Nakertrans and Energy Sub-agency Head, Sudrajat conveyed, from total 50 companies which monitored from January 11 to 20, 2021, his side found 38 companies that violated health protocols.

"The violations, namely more than 25 percent of employees work in office, not enough space between seats, not providing handwashing facilities and not obeying other health protocols," he stated, Thursday (1/21).

For the remaining 12 companies have complied with health protocols set by government.

His side also temporarily closed 7 companies whose employees were tested positive for COVID-19.

"We temporarily close those 7 companies based on reports from community," he added.

In order to stop COVID-19 transmission, he urged business actors to comply with COVID-19 health protocols that have been set by Jakarta Government.

"If they are still disobedient despite being warned, we will give more severe sanction by sealing their companies," he mentioned.
