Inaugurating High-Ranking Officials, Anies Expects Innovations in Carrying Out New Mandate

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan inaugurated and took an oath of 12 High-Ranking Officials in Jakarta Government as well as inauguration of Jakarta State Personnel Agency (BKN) Regional Office V Head at Jakarta City Hall, on Tuesday (2/23).

Inauguration and oath taking are the result of competency test of Jakarta Government High-Ranking Officials in 2021. The legal basis for this inauguration is based on Decree of BKN Head No. 3/KEP/2021, SK KASN No. B-836/KASN/02/2021 and B-874/KASN/02/2021, Jakarta Council (DPRD) Decree No. 1184/-071.82/2020 and No. 76/-071.82/202, as well as Jakarta Gubernatorial Decree (Kepgub) No. 1184/-071.82/2020 and No. 76/-071.82/2021.

He asked the inaugurated officials to immediately make adjustments, because Jakarta Government is facing very dynamic working conditions, especially during pandemic and rainy season. Therefore, they are expected to adapt and took new initiatives when implementing policies.

"At this time, we have to think about innovation that will be brought in new place, then prepare steps to really bring freshness. So far, the challenges are not small and now we are facing it together. Together, we are facing rainy season, especially to Water Resources Agency Head who has experience, when you receive a mandate, be sure to immediately organize our strength in overcoming rainy season. Please make sure our management in there running as well as possible," he said, as quoted by Jakarta PPID Press Release.

Moreover, he also advised newly appointed officials to imitate character of a leader, because if they only work as an official, they will only focus on authority. According to him, leader is needed because leader can be a role model where people follow the words and the deeds.

"Be an exemplary figure in the workplace, because we must take advantage of all novelty to bring a different atmosphere. We are still in the same organization, the positions have changed, but the goal has not changed in carrying out all orders, either in form of constitution, regional regulation, Pergub, Kepgub, and Ingub," he mentioned.

3.  Afan Adriansyah Idris, as Assistant for Development and Environment of Jakarta Regional Secretary

4. Syaefuloh Hidayat, as Jakarta Inspector

5. Dhany Sukma, as Mayor of Central Jakarta

6. Ali Maulana Hakim, as Mayor of North Jakarta

7. Maria Qibtya, as Head of Jakarta Regional Personnel Agency

8. Yusmada Faizal, as Head of Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Agency

9. Premi Lasari, as Head of Jakarta Social Agency

10. Chaidir, as Deputy Head of Jakarta Transportation Agency

11. Juaini, as Vice Mayor of North Jakarta

12. Bayu Meghantara, as Bureau Head of Jakarta Regional Secretary's Organization and Bureaucratic Reform

The inauguration ceremony was also attended by Jakarta Vice Governor, Ahmad Riza Patria; Jakarta Regional Secretary, Marullah Matali and his staff; Jakarta TP PKK Chairperson, Ferry Farhati; Jakarta TP PKK Deputy Chairperson I, Ellisa Sumarlin; Jakarta Council (DPRD) Deputy Chairperson, Suhaimi; and State Personnel Agency (BKN) Deputy Head, Supranawa Yusuf.
