South Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency (SDA) deployed 2 heavy equipment to dredge mud sedimentation from Sarua River in Kalibata, Pancoran.

Pancoran Sub-district SDA Sub-agency Task Force Head, Bowo Leksono mentioned, it was done as the continuation of mud dredging work carried out on Mampang River downstream area. This dredging work is conducted in Kalibata segment of Sarua River within 1.2 kilometers.
"Dredging is carried out for river normalization because it is already narrow and full of mud," he explained, Monday (3/8).

"This work has been carried out since early February and currently its progress has reached 15 percent. We estimate it to finish in the next four months," he said.
