Fire engulfed four warehouses located on Jalan Lodan Raya, Ancol Urban Village, Pademangan Sub-District, North Jakarta, Tuesday (11/11), at around 12.30 AM. There was no casualty reported in the incident that caused loss more than Rp 2 billion.

Those burned warehouses consist of spare parts warehouse belonged to PT Widico, bags warehouse belonged to PT Mita Jaya Sentosa, dynamo warehouse belonged to PT Tipikal, and expedition warehouse belonged to PT Rikras. The cause of the fire was allegedly electricity short circuit from bags warehouse, then fire quickly grew up and spread to the next buildings.
As many as 20 fire trucks from North Jakarta Fire and Disaster Handling Sub-Department were deployed the scene to extinguish the flames. After struggling for about five hours, the firemen finally managed to control situation.
