This March, 2,262 Trees Pruned in South Jakarta

In March 2021, South Jakarta City Parks and Forestry Sub-agency had pruned 2,262 trees in 10 sub-districts.

It is one of our efforts to ensure people's safety and comfort

South Jakarta City Parks and Forestry Sub-agency Head, Winarto said, his subordinates in sub-agency and sub-district levels were deployed to prune shady trees to anticipate trees from falling.

"Trees pruning is carried out to anticipate falling trees and broken branches," he conveyed, Friday (4/9).

Five Trees Pruned on Jl. Mabes Hankam

From total 2,262 trees pruned, as many as 254 trees were lightly pruned, 1,867 were moderately pruned, 88 trees were heavily pruned, and 53 trees were cut down.

"It is one of our efforts to ensure people's safety and comfort, both for pedestrians and motorists who pass through areas with shady trees," he closed.
