2,148 Trees Pruned in North Jakarta From January

North Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency pruned 2,148 trees in 6 sub-districts from January to March 23, 2021. 

In total, there are 8 teams where each team consists of 9 personnel

North Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency Acting Head, Mila Ananda stated, trees pruning was carried out to anticipate trees from falling, especially during heavy rain and strong wind.

In detail, 817 trees pruned in January, 757 trees in February, and 574 trees from early March until March 23.

Seven Trees at Risk of Falling in Prapanca Raya Pruned

"In total, we have pruned 2,148 trees," she mentioned, Wednesday (3/24).

In general, she informed, her side pruned shady trees and old trees that were prone to fall.

From total 2,148 trees that had been pruned, her side carried out light pruning to 853 trees, moderate pruning to 699 trees, heavy pruning to 440 trees, and pruning 156 trees prone to fall.

For pruning activities, her side deployed teams in each sub-districts (City Park and Forestry Unit) and teams from North Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency.

"Each sub-district consists of 1 team with additional 2 teams from North Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency. In total, there are 8 teams where each team consists of 9 personnel," she explained.

Trees pruning was also carried out to follow up resident's request through letter or CRM app, as well as personnel monitoring on the field.

"Trees pruning is carried out to follow up requests from CRM or residents through a system, report or proposal via WhatsApp or letter from institution, and monitoring on the field by our personnel," she closed.
