The West Jakarta administration, launched the Jakarta's 494th anniversary at the Ceramic Museum, Kota Tua area, Taman Sari, on Monday (5/24).

West Jakarta Mayor, Uus Kuswanto said West Jakarta had the opportunity to present the revitalization of the Kota Tua area through the porch of the Ceramic Museum. Taking the theme Jakarta Bangkit, this revitalization was proof that Jakarta would rise amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

"It is also a form of our gratitude to the Governor who recently launched the Kota Tua area revitalization program," he expressed, at the location.

He said that the Kota Tua area revitalization project was also a form of collaboration between the Jakarta administration, the central government and the private sector.

"This also proof of the revival of the re-revitalization of the historic cultural heritage areas and the pride of Jakarta's tourist sites," he said.

Hopefully it could have an impact on the business activities of residents and business actors engaged in tourism, etc.

"We want the sub-district, urban village, and tribal offices to celebrate it simply by displaying Betawi ornaments or icons under new protocols," he stated.
