Collaborating with Rekosistem, the PT MRT Jakarta holds a Garbage Pick-up program as part of its contribution to commemorate World Environment Day.
People can participate, especially in Jakarta area with a pick-up quota of 50 houses per day
People who have garbage piled up at home, either plastic or other inorganic waste and want to deposit it, now can register from June 7-11.
PT MRT Jakarta President Director, William Sabandar said it is a responsible waste transportation service for commercial buildings, public places and homes. The type of waste that can be transported is inorganic waste.

He explained he was continuously collaborating with Rekosistem, a start-up company that provides digital and sustainable waste management solutions in the community through technology-based and eco-friendly solutions in increasing the productivity of the waste chain value.
He furthered every participant would get points in the form of digital money contained in the Rekosistem application.
"This is one form of our contribution to support the improvement of environmental quality for sustainable development and social welfare of the community," he stated.
As for the information, the following are the procedures to be able to participate in the MRT Jakarta garbage pick-up program:
1. Download MRTJ Apps and Rekosistem application. Make sure you have an account at Rekosistem
2. Register via bit.ly/repickupexpress. Rekosystem Admin will provide confirmation after registration
3. Send a screenshot as proof that you have downloaded the MRTJ Apps application when you receive a confirmation
4. Confirmation of the transportation schedule will be informed on June 12 to 13. Make sure the mobile number and email are registered according to the account in the Rekosistem application
5. Prepare inorganic waste to be transported
