30,652 Kebon Jeruk Residents Aged 18 years or Over Vaccinated

The Kebon Jeruk Sub-district, West Jakarta has noted that as many as 30,652 people aged 18 years or over in its area have been vaccinated against Covid-19.

As of June 23, we have served 30,652 people in Kebon Jeruk and surely this number will continue to increase

Kebon Jeruk Sub-district Head, Saumun said there were 13 vaccination centers provided in seven urban villages. Every day, it was targeted to vaccinate around 3,285 people from the total target of 180,681 people.

"As of June 23, we have served 30,652 people in Kebon Jeruk and surely this number will continue to increase," he expressed, Thursday (6/24).

He explained that there had been a shortage of health workers as some were exposed to the coronavirus while on duty.

"Of 13 vaccination centers, only 10 are active. To reach the target, we add the quota for vaccination recipients," he said.

Nevertheless, he was optimistic that all residents would get vaccinated. Moreover, vaccination socialization continues to be intensified up to the RT level.

"For those of you who want to register for vaccines, you can come to the location of the available vaccination center. Don't be afraid, as vaccination may actually maintain our health to build immunity as an effort to contain the spread of Covid-19," he stated.
