PMPTSP Issues 12,949 Worker Registration Certificates

Jakarta Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service (PMPTSP) Agency has issued 12,949 Worker Registration Certificates (STRPs) from July 5 to 8 at 21:00. STRP policy is carried out as an effort to support optimization of Emergency PPKM.

Applicants are advised to check regularly and not to apply for STRP repeatedly before it is approved/rejected by officers

Based on data, there are 18,565 STRP applications in total, where 1,805 new applications are still in administrative and technical research process. While 3,811 STRP applications have been rejected because they don't comply with administrative and technical licensing requirements in accordance with applicable law and regulation.

Jakarta PMPTSP Agency Head, Benni Aguscandra said, STRP applies for workers who work in essential sector, critical sector, and those with urgent needs.

"STRP policy is mentioned in Jakarta Gubernatorial Appeal No. 10/2021 and Jakarta Gubernatorial Instruction No. 44/2021 about Implementation of People's Mobility Control in Enforcing COVID-19 Emergency PPKM," he conveyed, Friday (7/9).

He explained, STRP application can be submitted by logging into JakEVO website (jakevo.jakarta.go.id). For applicants who don't have JakEVO account, must register to have an account first.

"Administrative and technical research will be carried out on every STRP applications. Later, STRP or STRP Rejection Letter will be issued and sent via email," he added.

He urged STRP applicants to periodically check their application for STRP on jakevo.jakarta.go.id by selecting 'STRP' menu on the front page (pop-up menu) and filling their NIK and mobile number. Applicants can directly print/download STRP or STRP Rejection Letter on menu.

"Applicants are advised to check regularly and not to apply for STRP repeatedly before it is approved/rejected by officers, which will result to be rejected automatically because system reads multiple requests," he stated.

For information, application for Worker/Company STRP is only for essential and critical sector workers, which can only be submitted collectively by companies/business entities engaged in essential fields such as communication and IT, finance and banking, capital markets, payment system, hotels that don't handle COVID-19 quarantine, and export orientation industry.

Moreover, companies/business entities engaged in critical sectors such as energy, health, security, logistics and transportation, food and beverage, as well as its supporting industries, petrochemical, cement, national vital objects, disaster management, national strategic project, construction, basic utilities (electricity and water), and industries that fulfill basic needs of the community.

For companies engaged in essential and critical sectors, they must meet some requirements, namely, person in charge data, company data, KTP/KITAP/KITAS of person in charge, Business Identification Number (NIB) for private companies.

Then, attach list of employees/workers along with other documents needed, such as vaccination certificate (minimum first dose) or statement that they will participate in COVID-19 vaccination program for those who haven't vaccinated against COVID-19 due to certain/medical reasons.

Meanwhile, Individual STRP with urgent needs is only submitted by applicants who is in critical situation, such as visiting sick family, visiting for funeral/delivering bodies, for pregnant women, for childbirth, and those who act as birth companion.   

Required documents for this criteria are applicant's ID card, 4x6 colored photos, letter from RT/RW specifically for individual applicants with urgent needs and their vaccination certificate (at least first dose) or statement that they will participate in COVID-19 vaccination program for those who haven't been vaccinated due to certain/medical reasons.
