He went on to say that Jakarta had touched 7,507,340 people and had exceeded the government's target by the end of August, which was 7.5 million. Hopefully, the number could hit 8.5 million people in the next one to two months.
"We also need to tell that the Jakarta PCR test is already very high, on average it is 20 times the standard requested by WHO. Surely today's active cases decreased to 3,327, including the death rate at 1.5 percent and the cure rate at 96.3 percent. Thank you once again for participation of health workers, apparatuses, residents, and so on. Hopefully we can be healthy, congratulations," he continued.
He also appreciated the families of health workers who volunteered their families to work to serve the community in the context of administering vaccinations and various activities in order to fight the pandemic.
In the meantime, Ivan Gunawan explained, the first day of vaccination on Saturday (7/31) had managed to touch more than 1,000 people and most came from Tanah Sereal. At 7:30 AM to 10 AM, more than 600 got vaccinated.
"Everyone here must wear a mask, can't eat, drink, and take off the mask," he closed.
