Indonesian Navy (TNI AL) through Jalamangkara Detachment (Denjaka) collaborated to accelerate vaccination for Thousand Islands Residents by opening vaccination service center in Tidung Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands Sub-district.

TNI AL Staff Deputy Chief, Vice Admiral Ahmadi Heri Purwono said, this vaccination center provided quota of 2,000 doses vaccine.
Vaccination Center at PD. PAL Jaya Office is Open on August 4-7, 2021"It is held from today until August 8, 2021. We prepare 20 medical teams as vaccinators and general practitioners from Navy and Health Center to give free medical treatment," he explained, Friday (8/6).
According to him, if there are residents from other islands who want to take a part in this vaccination, his side will take them using speed boat.
"Our target is to vaccinate as many people as possible, because we have prepared two thousand doses of vaccine," he asserted.
Meanwhile, Thousand Islands Regent, Junaedi conveyed his gratitude for collaboration from Indonesian Navy's Denjaka team for organizing vaccination service and free medical treatment for local residents.
"Thank you for your assistance in accelerating vaccination program. Hopefully herd immunity target in Thousand Islands will be realized soon," he expressed.
In today's vaccination, there were 200 residents aged 12 years and over who registered to take first and second dose vaccination.
"For free medical treatment, there are 50 residents who signed up to have their health checked," he informed.
