Governor Anies Visits Vaccination Service at Agung Widhya Mandala Temple

Today the Jakarta Hindus take their role, show their presence, for the safety of all

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan, visited the vaccination activity at Agung Widhya Mandala Temple, Jalan Mangga, RT 01/19, Srengseng Sawah Urban Village, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta, on Sunday (8/8).

He revealed, the collaboration between the Jakarta administration and Parisada Hindu Dharma Indonesia (PHDI) is one proof that all elements work together for the safety of the residents.

400 People in Cilangkap Get Vaccinated

"In this place, the government only provides the vaccine kits, namely the medicine. While those who work for this activity are all volunteers for humanity," he expressed.

He went on to say that the administration has been pushing places of worship to become locations for vaccination services.

"Today the Jakarta Hindus take their role, show their presence, for the safety of all," he continued.

He added all face the same risk when contaminated with the virus, that was why cooperation and solidarity were needed to deal with it.

"Thank you once again for facilitating this vaccination activity," he stated.
