68 School Buses Pick Up Students who Take a Part in Limited Face-to-Face Learning

Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub)'s School Transportation Service Unit (UPAS) mobilized 68 fleets to pick up students who took a part in limited face-to-face learning (PTM) on Monday (8/30).

Jakarta Dishub's UPAS Head, Ali Murthadho conveyed, total 68 fleets were consisted of 26 buses with zoning route and 42 buses with regular routes. Those buses were operated from 04:30 until 17:30 in five municipalities where PTM was held.
"In the initial stage of limited PTM, we mobilize 68 school buses. All buses are deployed in five municipalities where limited PTM is implemented," he explained.

He also reminded them to comply with health protocols while on the bus by reducing talking to each other to reduce the potential exposure to COVID-19.
When operating school buses, he added, his side continues to implement health protocols, such as spraying all buses with disinfectant before and after operating. Before students ride the bus, the crew check their body temperature first. Besides, the crew also distributed mask to the students.
"School bus is operating with strict health protocols. We also display audio-visual images containing education about health protocols and COVID-19 to students on the bus," he said.
