Warga Diminta Lapor Jika Ada PNS Minta Uang Sogokan

Ahok: Text Me if PNS Asking for Bribe!

Jakarta Governor Basuki ‘Ahok’ T Purnama asks the citizens to no longer give bribe to civil servants in urban village and sub-district offices to smooth their population document handling process.

If they make you difficult, just text me, report who the officials are

“If they make you difficult, just text me, report who the officials are. Hand phone nowadays is sophisticated, can record conversation. For instance, (if they asked) where is the money for cigarette (bribe), just give it. That can be recorded. Then let me know. If they were regular staff, we’ll lower their ranks. If they kept on playing, we’ll move them and fire them if necessary,” he stated, Wednesday (11/26).

According to Ahok, Jakarta Provincial Government will fire civil servants who kept on asking bribe to the citizens.

Bad Performance PNS Easily Fired

“Do you think you dare to fight against them all? Later, those who have hard feelings could protest me. That’s why I challenge myself to this thing, train my heart muscles first,” he expressed.

As known, Jakarta Provincial Government is going to overhaul the positions of about 2,000 civil servants with bad performance.

“We will replace 2,000 people next month, 5,000 if necessary. This is the mental revolution initiated by Mr. Jokowi,” said Ahok.
