Jakarta Government Wins Bhumandala Award 2021

Jakarta Provincial Government through Human Settlements, Spatial Planning, and Land (CKTRP) Agency won Bhumandala Award 2021 from Geospatial Information Agency. Jakarta CKTRP Agency won the Best Innovation (Gold Trophy) for City Planning Information (IRK) at Jakarta Satu.
Jakarta Government benefits from the efficient use of geospatial information
Jakarta Government is one of 10 regional governments that have been selected to receive Bhumandala Award 2021 because they are considered successful in developing and implementing innovations in the use of geospatial information for the benefit of their regions and wider community.

Hermawanto stated, the breakthroughs made by Jakarta Government based on Geospatial Information namely, changing City Plan Information (IRK) which was initially manual, now via digital. Digital IRK makes it easier for public to obtain information about urban planning by themself in a short time.Increasing Public Access to Kita and Maju Beaches, Anies Issues Pergub No. 30/2021"Previously, it would take at least two weeks to obtain IRK," he added, Saturday (10/30).
Since IRK can be accessed via online, public can view and obtain information legally. Moreover, CKTRP Agency has collaborated and integrated with National Land Agency (BPN).
"All measuring maps in BPN can immediately provide accurate and precise information on city plan. It is very fast and easy," he mentioned.
According to him, Jakarta Satu allows Jakarta Government to integrate all spatial data of each regional organizational unit (OPD). Thus, there is no difference in coordinates of spatial data in each agency or misinterpretation of spatial data of building object.
"Jakarta Government benefits from the efficient use of geospatial information, such as in mapping areas that need assistance during COVID-19 pandemic, as well as zoning for COVID-19 assistance, which is also carried out digitally," he conveyed.
For information, Bhumandala Award 2021 event was held to motivate, inspire, strengthen, and encourage enthusiasm in building elements of network node thus it continues to be maintained in a sustainable manner towards an active and operational network node.
In accordance with Presidential Regulation No. 27/2014 on National Geospatial Information Network (JIGN), the JIGN implementers are government network nodes in ministries, institutions, Indonesian Police (Polri), and Indonesian Army (TNI) as well as provincial, district, and city governments.
Therefore, Bhumandala Award can build and realize network nodes for the implementation of geospatial information for each region into National Geospatial Information Network.
Besides Jakarta, Bhumandala Award 2021 was also given to West Java Provincial Government, Banjarmasin City Government, South Kalimantan Provincial Government, Bontang City Government, South Sumatra Provincial Government, Surakarta City Government, Yogyakarta Provincial Government, Manado City Government, and Sragen Regency Government.
