700 People in Flood-prone Areas Receive Sinovac Shot at Makasar GOR

Today they receive the first and second shots using Sinovac. It will take place until Friday (11/12)

As many as 700 residents of Makasar Urban Village, East Jakarta who live in flood-prone areas, received Covid-19 vaccination shots at Makasar Sub-district GOR, on Thursday (11/11). It was realized through the collaboration of the urban village, GOR and PMI East Jakarta.

Makasar Sub-district Vice Head, Mahpuz MZ said, it was dedicated to residents of RW 04, 05, 06 and 07, Makasar Urban Village, which are flood-prone locations.

"Today they receive the first and second shots using Sinovac. It will take place until Friday (11/12)," he expressed.

East Jakarta PMI Headquarters Head, Ahmad Fadli explained, it was conducted to stop the new clusters in refugee camps during floods.

"Actually we do this after getting the mayor's instruction," he explained.

He added, it involved 15 health workers from PMI assisted by 10 volunteers from PKK, Dasawisma, RT/RW and FKDM.
