South Jakarta Mayor, Munjirin together with AEON Mall Indonesia President Director, Daisuko Isobe inaugurated the operation of AEON Mall Tanjung Barat, on Thursday (11/18).

On that occasion, the mayor hoped the mall could develop partnerships with Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

"Surely the first step to take is to establish a partnership with MSMEs after passing through the selection and curation process," he expressed, after the inauguration ceremony.

He went on to say that currently Jakarta was promoting an integrated entrepreneurship development program or Jakpreneur.

Thereby, he hoped that the mall could help market Jakpreneurs’ products assisted by Jakarta SKPD/UKPD thus they grow and develop, as well as have an impact on improving economy.

"We also hope they can recruit labor from local residents," he hoped.
