City Park and Forestry Agency Plants 2,500 Mangrove Trees

Jakarta City Park and Forestry Agency planted 2,500 mangrove trees in Angke Mangrove Ecotourism Urban Forest, Kampung Muara Urban Village, Penjaringan Sub-district, North Jakarta.

There are 100 personnel involved in this tree planting

Jakarta City Park and Forestry Agency Head, Suzi Marsitawati conveyed, this trees planting activity was carried out as a part of Planting Friday program which was launched in October 2021.

"Total 2,500 mangrove trees are planted in commemorating Indonesian Tree Planting Day. There are 100 personnel involved in this tree planting," she explained, Friday (11/26).

Through Planting Friday program, she expected Jakarta can be more beautiful. green and air quality can continue to improve.

"Planting Friday program will continue to be intensified in other areas of Jakarta. Through Planting Friday program, we hope in the future, the city will be full of trees that can balance the city's ecology," she mentioned.
