Covid-19 Vaccination in Kembangan Has Touched 80 Percent

This week, we'll achieve the target of 80 percent for all urban villages

The Kembangan Sub-district has noted that as many as 193,714 or around 80.01 percent of the total 243,039 targeted people in Kembangan area, West Jakarta have received Covid-19 first shot until November 23. As for the second shot, it is almost 70 percent.

Joko, Head of Kembangan Sub-district said, from six urban villages in his region, only one urban village touched around 78 percent, namely Srengseng. It was followed by Joglo, Kembangan Selatan, Kembangan Utara, Meruya Selatan, and Meruya Utara with the average vaccination already above 80 percent.

"Around 49,325 residents in six urban villages have yet to receive vaccine. Those six villages are Joglo, Kembangan Selatan, Kembangan Utara, Meruya Selatan, Meruya Utara and Srengseng," he expressed, Wednesday (12/1).

Together with West Jakarta Health Sub-agency, he continued to launch vaccination efforts with a door-to-door system to facilitate residents to get vaccine services.

"This week, we'll achieve the target of 80 percent for all urban villages in order to create herd immunity," he stated.
