East Jakarta Has Monitored 162,985 Objects Amid Covid-19 Throughout 2021

East Jakarta Satpol PP says they have monitored around 162,985 objects consisting of individuals, places of business and offices amid Covid-19 outbreak throughout 2021.

All fines are deposited to regional treasury through Bank DKI account

East Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Budhy Novian expressed, in the case of individual, as many as 118,589 people had been netted in several areas spread across East Jakarta during the mask-operation.

In details, 118,125 were subject to social work sanctions and 464 paid administrative fines with a total amount of Rp 95,775,000.

"All fines are deposited to regional treasury through Bank DKI account," he said, Monday (1/10).

Aside that, personnel also managed to monitor around 2,232 places of food and beverage business. 296 were forcibly disbanded, 1,580 were given a written warning, 173 were temporarily closed for 1x24 hours, 168 were temporarily closed for 3x24 hours, 23 were subject to revocation of permits, and 12 paid administrative amounting to Rp 35 million.

"19,074 are free of sanction, as they have run the rules well," he furthered.

As for offices, 144 were monitored in the operation. They consisted of 134 got a warning letter, 7 were subject to revocation of permits, 3 were stopped in operation, 2,573 were free of sanction.

There were also around 1,509 other objects sanctioned. 1,176 got a warning letter, 196 were temporarily closed for 3x24 hours, 130 were stopped in operation, 1 was temporarily closed for 7x24 hours, 6 paid administrative fines amounting to Rp 35.5 million, and 19,216 were free of sanction.

In a year, personnel also dispersed the crowd in 112 locations. 107 were subject to sanctions in the form of disbanding the crowd and 5 got a warning letter.

"This is done to curb the transmission of Covid-19 and enforce community discipline in implementing health protocols," he stated.
