We will replace the damaged manholes thus it won't endanger road users

Thousand Islands SDA Sub-agency Head, Hendri mentioned, this repair was carried out by replacing manhole covers with size of 90x90 centimeters and repainting them.

"They will be replaced thus it won't endanger road users," he said, Thursday (1/20).

To carry out repairs, eight personnel have been deployed to RW 01 and 02 since early January and it is targeted to be finished by the end of this month.

"So far, we have replaced and repainted 30 of total 112 manhole covers," he explained.
