April 2015, Citizen Markets Project Completed

The projects of 5 citizen market are expected to delay from the target of former Jakarta Governor Joko Widodo. Previously, the projects are expected to complete in 7 months, but Pasar Nangka in Bungur Urban Village, Central Jakarta is still in progress and all five markets are expected to finish in upcoming April 2015.

"Almost a year the traders wait the certainty of this project," said Guntur (45), the citizen of Utan Panjang Urban Village, Kemayoran, Thursday (12/4).

Now, all traders who previously selling in Nangka Market are placed along Jalan Kalibaru Timur. Thic condition adds another problem as traffic at the area because the 4 wheel vehicle can not pass the road due to their existence.

PD Pasar Jaya Technical Director, Lutfi Rachman said, he has completed the Manggis Market project from all 5 markets now, The rests will be completed in upcoming April 2015.

"It is only a technical problem. The governor instruction is clear, April must be done," he said.
