Vice Governor Supports Optimizing Synergy of Foreigner Supervision

Jakarta Vice Governor Ahmad Riza Patria attended the South Jakarta Foreigner Supervision Team Coordination Meeting (Timpora) with the theme 'Optimizing Timpora Synergy during the Pandemic' at the Westin Hotel, on Wednesday (3/16).

The meeting was held by the Class I Immigration Office for Non TPI, South Jakarta.
"It is a manifestation of the implementation of Government Regulation number 31/2013 on Implementing Regulations of Law Number 6/2011 on Immigration," he expressed when delivering his speech.
Immigration Socialization Held for Improving Society KnowledgeHe hoped that the Timpora could continuously improve performance and expand synergies and collaboration with various stakeholders in supervising foreigners.
It was not only a matter for the immigration authorities but also a social and political problem in social life.
"That's why it needs to be a synergy between stakeholders in optimizing supervision of foreigners," he expressed.
According to him, it could be strengthened to the sub-district and urban village level for optimal results.
"If there is a violation against a foreigner, it can be followed up immediately," he stressed.
In line with the government's policy of gradually opening international travel, there will be more challenges to be faced in the future. Hence, the Jakarta administration hoped that the Timpora could optimize its role as the executor of immigration regulations and support the recovery of the national economy and Jakarta.
"This meeting is not just a routine but must be used as a forum for voicing ideas related to coordination planning to joint operations," he closed.
