Promoting Thousand Islands, Jakarta Launches Pulo 1000 App at Mandalika Experience Expo 2022

Thousand Islands is a group of islands and a regency in northern Jakarta that holds natural beauty and charming tourist attractions. To introduce the magnificent potential of Thousand Islands, the Jakarta Government launched "Pulo 1000 Application" at Mandalika Experience Expo, Mandalika Circuit, West Nusa Tenggara, on Sunday (3/20).

"Thank God for His mercy and grace, today we can attend the Pulo 1000 Application Launching at Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Disparekraf)'s Booth at BRImo Mandalika Experience Expo 2022," said Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Released.

He assessed that the momentum for the launch of the Pulo 1000 application at Mandalika MotoGP was very appropriate. Because Indonesia is in the spotlight of the world by hosting the world-class MotoGp motorcycle racing event.

"It feels great that we can be together in today's amazing event. This is a historical moment for Indonesia. A world-class competition that is eagerly awaited by everyone, especially automotive sports lovers. After a long wait for Indonesian automotive lovers, especially MotoGP, finally, after 25 years, Indonesia is again hosting the MotoGP," he conveyed.

Moreover, he also conveyed the advantages of Mandalika which had been designated as one of 10 new Balis by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy.

"This historic moment happened in Mandalika, a place that has extraordinary natural beauty. Mandalika is a destination that is included in the declaration of Bali Baru, including one tourism destination owned by the Jakarta Government, namely Thousand Islands," he mentioned.

Mandalika and Thousand Islands, he continued, have the same topography, which is surrounded by beautiful islands and seas.

Similar to Mandalika, the Thousand Islands also invited people to visit and enjoy its natural beauty. It has art, culture, history, and natural tourism potential with a total of 113 islands. Now, tourists can be easier to visit Thousand Islands with Pulo 1000 application which can be downloaded via Google Playstore and accessed through the JAKI application on both Android and iOS.

"Tourists can easily visit the islands in Thousand Islands by ordering available services, such as booking ferry boat, homestay, vehicle rental, and attractive tour packages," he explained.
