I've asked for help to DKI Bank. If they cannot help us, we will glance at other banks. Next year, KJP would not use the cash withdrawal system anymore," said Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' T Purnama, at City Hall, Tuesday (12/9).

KJS and KJP are Social Justice, Ahok Says

Ahok disclosed the change in cash withdrawal system into auto-debit aims to prevent abuse of the educational social assistance funds. The reason is, the use of KJP funds supposed to assist the needy.

"Don't let the student's mother uses the funds to buy a cell phone. While scolding, she (mother) came to DKI Bank ask for cash withdrawal," he expressed.

Former regent of East Belitung believes that the application of non-cash transactions to students who receive KJP funds will enable the government controlling the use of funds for educational needs.

"Every student must pay via auto-debet if they want to eat at the cafeteria, ride a bus, buy a book, etc in Jakarta Boo Fair," he explained.

As known, the KJP funds for elementary school students is Rp 180,000 per month, Junior High School Rp 210,000 per month, as well as Senior High School/Vocational School Rp 240,000 per month. The fund is distributed every three months. But in 2015, it will be disbursed every month.
