Hundreds of People Lined Up to Get KJP Fund in DKI Bank

About 500 hundreds people are queuing in DKI Bank on Jalan Otista Raya, Bidaracina Urban Village, Jatinegara Sub-District, East Jakarta, Monday (9/8), since morning. They lined up to take their children’s Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) fund which has been disbursed.

The people queuing are not only those who live in Bidaracina, but also from other urban villages such as Kampung Melayu, Matraman, Kayumanis, and Palmeriam.
Lina (30), one of the parents, admitted that before coming to DKI Bank on Jalan Otista Raya, she had come to four other DKI Bank offices.
576,000 Students Received KJP Fund“I’ve been going around, but the queues were long. I thought it was empty here, but turns out it is the same,” she expressed.
Meanwhile, DKI Bank President Director, Eko Budiwiyono, said that the queues for KJP fund withdrawal are always seemed full because those people brought along their relatives. Actually, by using DKI Bank ATM cards which have been given to them, they could skip the lines and just take the money from the ATM machines.
“We have given the ATM cards and rotated the fund disbursement. But, they still come all at once,” he uttered.
The amount of KJP fund recipients this year is 637,000 students. Each of them received different KJP fund in accordance to their education level, which is Rp 180,000 per month for elementary school (SD) student, Rp 210,000 per month for junior high school (SMP) student, and Rp 240,000 per month for senior high school (SMA) student.
