Baznas Bazis Launches Semua Jadi Istimewa Program for Ramadan

The Jakarta Baznas Bazis has prepared various special activities to enliven this year's Ramadan with the 'Semua Jadi Istimewa' (Everything is Special) program. It will be held under health protocols.

Jakarta Baznas Bazis Chair Akhmad H Abubakar revealed this year's Ramadan is still different than previous years. That's why the government, institutions, agencies, and companies have programs such as providing different assistance.

"We are very concerned about social-humanitarian phenomena by responding and helping residents, especially those affected by Covid-19," he expressed, Wednesday (3/22).

He also encouraged all institutions, agencies, and corporations to synergize with Jakarta Baznas Bazis through various programs that have been prepared. In this fasting month, he would present quality and useful treats.

"From our podcast, we'll present insight to muzaki (alms donors in Arabic) about zakat (alms) fiqh, zakat consultation, as well as the ease of paying zakat through applications, outlets, and our operational officers," he explained.

He mentioned the activities in the Semua Jadi Istimewa program including Caring for the People, Ramadan Mystery Box, Hanging Out Together at Coffee Difabis, Ramadan Compensation, Ramadan Takjil Distribution, Ramadan Podcasts, Removing Tattoos in Prisons, and Paying Zakat.
