Central Jakarta to Kick Off Jakpreneur Bazaar at City and Sub-district Level

Welcoming Ramadan which falls in early April, the Central Jakarta Industry Trade Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Sub-agency is set to hold a Jakpreuner Bazaar at the city and sub-district level.

This is the first bazaar in the region that uses QRIS for payments

Central Jakarta Economics and Development Assistant Bakwan Ferizan Ginting said the bazaar was divided into two stages, the first stage on March 24-25 and the second stage on April 21-22.

According to him, it aimed at helping the community to get qualified products at affordable prices for Ramadan and Eid ul-Fitri.

"It will be staged n the mayor's office and in each sub-district. Hope it can provide qualified products for the community," he stated, Tuesday (3/22).

It could be a momentum for the community's economic revival during the pandemic and motivate Jakpreuner members to continuously innovate and develop their products.

Central Jakarta PPKUKM Sub-agency Head Melinda Sagala explained around 40 participants with 20 outlets would enliven the bazaar in the mayor's office, while 30 participants with 15 outlets at each sub-district.

"They must have a QRIS account. This is the first bazaar in the region that uses QRIS for payments," he said.
