East Jakarta Mayor Muhammad Anwar has launched the Ramadan Bazaar event in the Pekayon Sub-district office yard, Pasar Rebo, Monday (4/11). In the event, he also distributes compensation to orphans and dhuafa.

He said the bazaar, which was held from April 5 to 24, was a form of collaboration between the urban village, PKK, Dasawisma, Jumantik, LMK, City Council, and the community. According to him, it should be followed by other areas in East Jakarta.

"They offer culinary, handicrafts, Muslim clothing, and takjil. The price offered is also cheaper," she explained.
According to her, the food products sold in the bazaar were cheaper than the market price. For example, 2.5-kilograms premium rice is sold for Ro 29,500.
Then 5-kg rice Rp 56,000, cooking oil Rp 24,000 per liter, wheat flour Rp 11,000 per kg, and sugar Rp 13,500 per kg.
The bazaar opening was also filled with the provision of compensation to 90 orphans and dhuafa by Mayor Muhammad Anwar. It was realized in collaboration with RT/RW, LMK, and public figures.
