Jakarta Vice Governor, Ahmad Riza Patria attended a blood donation held by Persaudaraan Setia Hati Terate (PSHT) martial arts school located at SMP Hang Tuah 3, North Jakarta.

He appreciated PSHT for carrying out this activity since it was considered very useful for the community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"It is held as a form of concern for human values," he mentioned at the location, Monday (2/28).

"It is not a small amount. During the pandemic, the need for blood is always high," he assessed.
According to him, today's blood donation is a form of social service by helping others in need.
"It is a blessing to anyone who does a good deed," he expressed.
He explained that blood donation has a universal meaning because it can be done by anyone, regardless of social status, ethnicity, religion, and position. As long as healthy and capable, anyone can donate blood.
"Blood donors will also be fitter because they produce new red blood cells. The red blood cells in our body are very beneficial," he said.
