Ahead of New Year, Satpol PP Intensively Holds Liquor Raid

Approaching Christmas and New Year, the Kemayoran Sub-District Satpol PP, Central Jakarta begins to conduct liquor raid in Central Jakarta. It aims to anticipate fatalities due to high alcohol consumption, particularly bootleg alcohol (oplosan).

If the liquor bottles are found, we will confiscate it

 

Head of Kemayoran Sub-District, Iyan Sopian Hadi disclosed the raid is focused on nightclubs, cafes, and liquor stalls. "If the liquor bottles are found, we will confiscate it," he stressed, Monday (12/15).

Head of Kemayoran Sub-District Satpol PP, Tarunso Hutagaol added people often consume liquor ahead of New Year. "If they consume liquor with high levels, we will follow up. This is very dangerous," he uttered.

 

According to him, from raid results today, officers managed to confiscate 12 liquor bottles with high levels from a cafe. "The cafe owner is still being questioned," he expressed.
