Backflow of Home-bound Travelers to Jakarta Reaches 62,549

The Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) has noted that as many as 62,549 home-bound travelers have arrived through seven bus terminals in Jakarta. They arrived using 5,347 buses from Wednesday (5/4) to Sunday (5/8).

The peak of the backflow occurred yesterday

Dishub Head Syafrin Laputo explained that those seven terminals were Pulogebang, Kampung Rambutan, Kalideres, Lebak Bulus, Grogol, Tanjung Priok, Muara Angke terminals. The number of backflow travelers arriving from D+1 to D+5 is constantly increasing graphically.

"The peak of the backflow occurred yesterday. The number that arrived reached 1,485 buses with a total of 22,448 passengers," he expressed.

3,435 Homecomers Arrive at Pulo Gebang Bus Terminal

He detailed the number of backflows of travelers arriving in Jakarta on D+1 reached 711 buses with 5,070 passengers. There were also 852 buses with 7,468 passengers on D+2, 993 buses with 11,218 passengers on D+3, and 1,306 buses with 16,345 passengers on D+4.

From D+1 to D+5, the number of departures was 15,430 passengers with 2,480 buses from Jakarta.

"The number of departures is less than 500 buses every day. Only the most on D+5 are 40 buses," he closed.
