In the current era of development, Jakarta has a lot of potential that can still be optimized. Not only in terms of history but also geographical or natural conditions.
The place is nice and still very beautiful, I've been there
Regional Representatives Council (DPD) Senator Dailami Firdaus disclosed that on the Ciliwung Riverbank, Lenteng Agung, South Jakarta, there is still potential for eco-based tourism, Kedung Gede.
"The place is nice and still very beautiful, I've been there," he said, Wednesday (5/11).
Here is Jakarta DRD's Input on Jakarta Transportation System in the futureAccording to him, other areas also still have great potential that must be explored, nurtured, and used for the benefit of the community.
"They can be used as an environment-based tourism that can be managed by locals who are natives of Jakarta or Betawi," he explained.
He added that Jakarta has a lot of potential, especially community-based and environment-based. That was why sensitivity and attention are needed to raise this potential. Thereby, it takes sensitivity and attention to unlock that potential.
"Collaboration is needed to realize Jakarta Maju, Bermartabat dan Bahagia Warganya (making a developed city for happier people)," he stated.
Besides progress in terms of economy, development, and technology, Jakarta still has homework to promote a society based on environment and culture.
"We have to work hand in hand to make this happen," he continued.
As we know, Jakarta is the most developed city in Indonesia in many ways, starting from development, transportation, science, and technology. However, it is not expected to eliminate the identity of the original community.
"As a Betawi Senator, I pay great attention to the existence of the Betawian people. "Especially, to get status as a core community of Jakarta in the revision of Law number 29/2007," he stated.
