Thousand Islands will Hold Martial Arts Festival in November

According to him, the Pencak Silat training camp program aims to unite island children in expressing island culture and arts, train and guide children to preserve island culture, and create a generation of Kelapa Island who loves religion, culture, country, and education.

"We usually hold training at the camp and RPTRA every Tuesday and Wednesday night between 8 PM to 10 PM for adults and every weekend between 8 AM to 11 AM for children.

Kelapa Island Urban Village Head Irfan Damanhuri hoped that it could preserve and be a positive activity for residents, especially teenagers and children to avoid drug abuse and brawls.

"We'll support it. Aside from being a sports facility, this can also have the potential to become a culture and support for the tourism sector, such as welcoming guests who come to Seribu Islands," he stated.
